Ok, you married or plan to soon. Congratulations! I'm sure you are aware that this means they are responsible for at least half the meals you and your loved one will eat from here! Not to mention future children, visiting family members and - of course - our relatives.

Some time ago one of my daughters (I hope that was not all the ideas), asked me 10 recipes that I thought that all newly married people should be able to do. AfterThink, from time to time so I came for a few days with what I believe are the major shareholders. Before moving on to the recipes, I just want to share some words that life could have been much easier for me, someone told me when I started to cook!

Cooking is an art. It is not a task or an obligation to bear, his way. It can be really one of the most rewarding and satisfying you'll ever make. Just like most things, who cares.Who wants to be great, they can. There is an old Chinese proverb says: "The only difference between a good housekeeper and now is a bad day." I took the liberty to change the saying goes, you say: "The only difference between a good cook and a bad one hour a day." If you make your mind to become a great cook and dedicate even just one hour a day to hone your skills, you earn your stripes before!

A couple of things you should never forget:

Neverleave the kitchen when you bake cookies or biscuits. I would advise never to walk out of the kitchen while cooking, but if it's something like cookies or biscuits, is usually disastrous. You have to burn just looking for a reason and make your departure as the open door they need.

Every time cookbooks are used bookstores - or check online auctions or Amazon.com. The cookbooks that were written in the 70s and 80s were some of the best. You will findIngredients that have actually heard, for one thing, the more they tend to be more of the basic recipes that you need to get started.

Watch TV Food! It 'really exciting, and even more informative. I would never suggest that, under no circumstances miss an episode of Paula Deen is "Home Cooking with Paula," Rachel Ray "30 minutes Meals" and Alton Brown "Good Eats". You are at the top, in my opinion. Once you get familiar with the road through the pots, you'll be ready for Emeril,But you have to work up to it!

Now for the first ten recipes that you need. In both cases some of these cookbooks I turn to you have said, or website, or as http://www.foodtv.com http://www.buttermilkpress.com, or ask other members of their family favorite recipes for everyone. You are a kick out of real achieve this. Also, if you pass a child ask their favorite recipes, go down a very nice touch!

Breakfast / Brunch:

1 French toast and pancakes. Nothingto impress him or her as a rather large stack of delicious pancakes hot with butter melting of the pages.

2 egg-based dishes: scrambled eggs, fried and poached. Note: When cooking eggs, remove them from the pan before they actually look completely done. They continue to cook even after you have cleaned the plate.

3 Buttermilk biscuits. Buttermilk in a recipe makes everything feel better. If biscuits, pancakes or corn bread, enhances the presence of tasteten times.

4 Great coffee. It is absolutely necessary to be able to cook a pot of coffee sensation. Do your research samples, different beans and always, always grind your own coffee. You can get a grinder for less than $ 20.00, and 20 is the wisest dollars you ever invest.

Lunch:

5 Hamburger and their cousin, Cheeseburgers. I reveal a family secret, a little 'of garlic, salt is the difference between "Honey, that's fine." and "Wow, my mother (father) why Burgerthis! "

6 At least one really good soup at home. I know, the red and white cans are awfully convenient (and is about 10 my pantry), but in a stunning location for a potato or vegetable soup is cooking a big feather cap.

Dinner / etc:

7 Fried Chicken. Return to the Buttermilk for a minute, soaking the chicken in buttermilk (in refrigerator) for about an hour before coating and frying makes for a juicy, tasty meat.

8Mashed potatoes. Never. Below. All. Circumstances. USA. Moment. Potatoes. Do not make their way in stores. Peel, boil and mash potatoes with milk, butter and .... Pssst, another family secret, sour cream. It's worth it.

Yeast rolls 9. Ok, I admit, these are not easy like the other 10 or so talking about food here. This is because Tempermental yeast. It can be likened to Goldilocks, of all things. It gets angry if the liquid is too hot, he gets angryif the liquid is too cold. Its aim is simply right, and if the temperature is not right, and the set of Goldie, the bread will lie down. Flat-rolled. Roles ugly.

10 (3-way tie!) Chocolate biscuits, apple pie and cake is your favorite girlfriend. Master of sweets and even if the main meal is not up, it will be good. The last thing a person eats, after all is what you remember most. You know the saying, all's well that ends well.

Congratulations, goodThe luck and have fun. It may sound like something from a 1940 cookbook, but this is really the biggest secret. For most things in life, really.
